Wildlife

One fun thing about living in the country is the wildlife. Since we've been in the new house (2.5 months now) we have seen deer, racoons, all kinds of birds, strange moths and other insects, and the fattest frogs (technically toads) I have ever seen. Scott insists on leaving the front porch lights on at night to protect us from the ne'er-do-wells. I've never heard of a burglar entering through the front door anyway, but whatever. So the porch lights attract bugs, which in turn attract fat frogs. They are particularly abundant after the rain. The other night, we found one in the (closed!) garage, having a soak in Molly's water bowl. We tried to get it's picture in the bowl but it made a break for it and went hopping about the garage.
