Houndstooth

There is something very cosmopolitan about houndstooth.
This card uses the "Tags for Spring" stamp set from PTI. I stamped the houndstooth circle border with dark chocolate and then used my blue copic marker to color in the design. The sentiment is from Limitless Labels. I like this color combo.



I used my piercing tool to poke holes in each scallop of the scalloped circle. I sort of crinkled the scallops a little bit to add some dimension. It's hard to see in the picture but the aqua mist cardstock was embossed using my Cuttlebug and a Fiskars texture plate. Ribbon from Big Lots, of course.
